SAIMUN - SAI Model United Nations Conference

Welcome to SAIMUN, one of India’s most distinguished Model United Nations conferences, where young minds come together to debate global issues, practice diplomacy, and develop leadership for the future.

Designed for students of Grades IX to XII, SAIMUN provides an immersive platform where participants assume the roles of international delegates, engage in structured debates, and collaborate to address some of the most pressing challenges facing our world today.

In an increasingly interconnected world, the ability to think critically, negotiate effectively, and understand global dynamics is essential. SAIMUN nurtures these skills by encouraging thoughtful dialogue, informed research, and respectful diplomacy.

Recognised as Eastern India’s largest international Model United Nations conference, SAIMUN brings together over 1,000 delegates from across the globe. Guided by experienced chairpersons and mentors, participants engage in meaningful discussions that cultivate leadership, confidence, and global awareness.

Founded in 2013 and inaugurated by Former Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik, SAIMUN continues to stand as a premier platform for youth-driven diplomacy and international collaboration.
